Jeff Sass, the chief marketing officer at .CLUB Domains shares his insights and experience as a 30-year veteran of the technology and entertainment industries at NameSummit 2017. He is scheduled to speak on the opening day of the digital branding conference held on Aug. 7-8 at the Hilton Midtown in the heart of New York City.
He has worn many hats during the course of his career. As an entrepreneur, Jeff co-founded several notable startups, including BarPoint.com, EntrepreneurWiki, and Social Object Factory. He played a significant role in the success of Myxer as its vice president and chief evangelist by helping turn the mobile entertainment enterprise into one of the 15 top mobile websites in the country.
Jeff is a writer and producer with film and television credits, including a stint at Troma Entertainment Inc. The title of his new book, “Everything I Know About Business and Marketing, I Learned From The Toxic Avenger,” is a reference to the seven years he worked at Troma producing low-budget horror and action films.
His topic at this year’s conference is “Naming Your Startup? Stop Drppng Vwls & Making Sh*t Up!” He will be sharing his expertise in domain names and branding along with his observations about how people and businesses damage SEO and discoverability by building brands on bad names. Those attending his Monday afternoon presentation will have an opportunity to ask questions and get Jeff’s insight into current and future trends in domain names and branding.
