NameSummit 2017 welcomes Robert Monster of Epik.com who will talk about how his company, DigitalTown, is changing the future of search on a global scale.
Anyone curious about the next innovation in how searches are conducted will want to be at the Hilton Midtown on Aug. 7 to hear Mr. Monster explain how DigitalTown’s Smart Search has taken single website searches to a global network of local sites. Visitors to this year’s digital branding conference should come early to hear from the more than 40 leading names in the digital branding industry who will be participating in the two-day event running from Aug. 7-8. Mr. Monster is scheduled to speak at 5:15 p.m. on the opening day of the conference.
Mr. Monster comes to NameSummit 2017 as one of the early innovators in the market research industry. He served as chairman of the board and chief executive officer of Global Market Insite Inc., the company he founded in 1999. Under his leadership, GMI achieved more than 100 percent annual revenue growth as a service provider to companies in more than 60 countries. A winner of the Entrepreneur of the Year Award in technology and software awarded by Ernst & Young, he is the co-author of “Market Research in the Internet Age” published by John Wiley & Sons.
His program, “Smart Cities – A Smarter Way to Do Business – Local First,” will focus DigitalTown’s use of a global network of local sites that follow conventions centered on cities and topics. For example, Chicago.menu focuses on restaurants in the Windy City. Mr. Monster will explain how the use of global search networks is expected to affect the way marketers and businesses on the web engage customers.
NameSummit 2017 brings together industry leaders, entrepreneurs, and experts in digital branding and marketing to discuss and share ideas about branding, influencer marketing, and social media. Startup advisers and legal experts will be available during the two-day conference to share advice and answer questions for attendees.
